With the other two suite signs ready to be installed we couldn’t resist putting up the Copper Crown’s sign. It will be a while before we get back to this end of the Hazelnut Inn but it sure is nice to see a sign of things to come.
The North Star’s bedroom is looking better and better these days. We have several more glazes to go, on the wood planking, but the room already has a very rich and warm feel!
The Under Hill suite’s entrance garden is just beginning to take shape. And, since it was such a nice day, we brought the model of the inn out to the site for easy reference while we weld the structure. This suite is going to feel magical by the time we are finished!
Yesterday, we installed the gate to the North Star suite’s private garden. It is a very hefty steel door (in fact I’ve seen safes made of flimsier steel) and it swings open like a dream!
The North Star suite’s sign has had its first test fit. We will finish the show side of the rudder before finally installing the sign.
Today we test fit the Under Hill’s sign in preparation for completing the suite’s garden wall. This sign is one of the first things we built for the Hazelnut Inn and I am really looking forward to installing it!
