Our Little Quirks Make For The Perfect Stay

At the Hazelnut Inn, we’ve embraced being a one-of-a-kind destination. We don't have a grand lobby and we keep our guest list very small. Sometimes, new guests ask about our special policies — like being adult-only. We believe our “peculiar” choices are an important part of what makes us such a magical little hotel…

The “Ghost Host” Experience (Because Lobbies Are Overrated)

We’re basically expert hiders. While we are here if you genuinely need rescue (or fresh towels), you won't find a check-in desk at the Hazelnut Inn.

Instead, we’ve designed a completely private experience where you head straight to your suite. We believe that the moment you step through our gates, you should feel like you’ve discovered a secret world. By skipping the traditional common areas (and lineups), we get to give you the gift of privacy: the feeling that, for a few days, this fairytale kingdom is yours and yours alone.

The “Two’s Company” Policy (No, Seriously, Just Two)

We sometimes hear from folks who wish they could bring the whole family or host a party in our suites. While we understand the desire to share the magic, we’ve intentionally designed our experience to be “exclusive” for a very specific reason: your total immersion.

Our suites are cozy, hand-crafted retreats designed specifically for two. Because we don't allow groups or “just-for-an-hour” visitors, we ensure that the inn remains a hidden gem — never crowded, never loud, always intimate.

The “No Tiny Humans” Rule (Must Be 18+ To Play)

Not many hotels combine pirate ships, underground cottages, and fairytale castles. And, all this whimsy makes it natural to ask, “Can we bring our kids?!?”

However, while the Hazelnut Inn is designed for your inner child — our suites’ soft lighting, two-person soaker tubs, and private gardens are all made for your outer grownup. Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or just need a break from the “real world,” we are a one-of-a-kind adult getaway.

We feel so lucky to share our magical little hotel with you — “quirks” and all. So, if you’re ready for a quiet, private, and whimsical escape, we’d love to have you.
