Last Friday was a landmark day for us, here at the Hazelnut Inn. We finished our final section of sculpted concrete. It’s been eight years since we troweled our first bit of concrete and it was an emotional moment when we put our carving tools down for the last time!
We are moving steadily closer to the finish line!
Every castle needs a secret passage…
Our Copper Crown Suite is nearly completed. We have a tiny bit more sculpting to finish and a fair bit of painting to do but the bulk of the work is done and we are in the home stretch!
Today we installed the newel post for the Copper Crown’s staircase. Later this week we will sculpt the dragon’s concrete body. That will finish off the last of the sculpting in this suite — stay tuned!
