Our second mermaid is sculpted and ready for woodgrain and paint. These two figureheads will make lovely bedposts for the North Star suite!

The first of our mermaid figureheads is nearly complete! Just a little wood grain texture and some paint and she will be ready to install. We are really looking forward to seeing these two pieces in place!

We carved our second figurehead for the North Star suite’s bedroom on a rotary CNC router this week. This video shows her being carved from an enormous block of HDU. I am really looking forward to hand sculpting the final details on these two figureheads!
