Today we test fit some paper mockups of the banners that will adorn to e walls inside the Copper Crown. I am looking forward to seeing them in colour!

It is finally time to start working on the Copper Crown Suite’s final details so we are back upstairs building a bed fit for a king.

Last Friday was a landmark day for us, here at the Hazelnut Inn. We finished our final section of sculpted concrete. It’s been eight years since we troweled our first bit of concrete and it was an emotional moment when we put our carving tools down for the last time!

We are moving steadily closer to the finish line!

Every castle needs a secret passage…

Today we installed the newel post for the Copper Crown’s staircase. Later this week we will sculpt the dragon’s concrete body. That will finish off the last of the sculpting in this suite — stay tuned!
