The upper sections of the North Star’s sitting room tower are complete and we are eager to start work on the lower levels!

I snapped this picture just before sunset — that warm golden light sure plays nice with all that yellow!

With each successive glaze, the North Star suite’s exterior creeps closer to completion. I am looking forward to taking the scaffold down and getting an unobscured view of the tower!

There is a lot of colour going on at the Hazelnut Inn these days. The painting on the North Star suite is progressing nicely and it won’t be long before we move on to the Copper Crown suite’s exterior!

The paint on the North Star suite’s tower is coming along nicely. After cleaning up for the day, I couldn’t resist snapping a quick shot of the sea horses that are supporting the roof’s corbels.
