The Under Hill Suite’s facade is progressing nicely these days. Walking into this area already feels magical — but I can hardly wait for this area to be painted and landscaped — it is going to be breathtaking!
The background art for Disney’s early animated features have inspired me ever since I was a child. The interiors of Geppetto’s home, the dwarves’ cottage and Aurora’s treehouse are filled with wonderful carved details — sometimes only hinted at with a few strokes of a brush. The Under Hill Suite is a chance to pay homage to these works of art with little touches like this owl beam end.
Today we hung one of the property’s front gates. This little man gate looks a little out of place at the moment but it won’t be long until we finish the walls around it.
Trust me when I say that the Copper Crown Suite’s garden wall is everything it’s cracked up to be.
The Copper Crown Suite’s garden wall is nearly sculpted. It won’t be too long and we will be starting on the castle itself.
With the front of the inn’s sculpted concrete nearly complete we have started to shift our focus toward the back of the property.
