Today we finished sculpting the Avellana. Her keel now looks like a massive piece of timber — rather than a semi-seethrough patchwork of steel and concrete. Next we will start sculpting the wall that supports the ship!
The North Star suite’s bedroom is nearly complete. Among the final touches are these custom sea shell wall sconces. They complement the mermaid figureheads nicely and add a lovely bit of detail to the ship’s interior.
The Under Hill suite’s entrance is coming along nicely this week. Soon we will be ready to start backfilling and forming the hillside.
Today, we finished sculpting the brick trim around the Hazelnut Inn’s mechanical room entrance. This courtyard is really starting to take shape!
Today we sculpted the Avellana’s rudder. Next up, we will finish the ship’s keel before we move on the garden walls around the North Star suite.
This week, in and amongst everything else, we finished sculpting the ground at the front of the inn. Planting the front garden will have to wait for a while but, in the mean time, we have spread some grass seed to help keep the area need and tidy. I am looking forward to seeing some green!
