Today, we installed the North Star suite’s mermaid figurehead bedposts - now we just have to finish the rest of the suite!
Our mermaids are now in living colour. Just one more glaze and they will be ready to install. I am very eager to see them in their permanent home!
Our mermaids are now sculpted, textured, base-coated, and ready for colour. It won’t be long until they are ready to be installed.
Our second mermaid is sculpted and ready for woodgrain and paint. These two figureheads will make lovely bedposts for the North Star suite!
The first of our mermaid figureheads is nearly complete! Just a little wood grain texture and some paint and she will be ready to install. We are really looking forward to seeing these two pieces in place!
Today we finished roughing out the first of two figureheads that will grace the North Star suite’s bedroom. And there was even a little time left in the day to test fit the sculpture. She is just the right scale for the room!
