Welcome to the Copper Crown Suite. Below you’ll find our check-in form and a few hints to help make your stay more comfortable. If you have any questions about the Copper Crown please feel free to call or text (604) 845-4628 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (text only after 7:00 pm) and we’ll be happy to assist.

Check-in

Welcome

  • You should have everything you need for a keyless check-in. However, if you would like the Innkeeper to greet you or you need assistance with luggage, please let us know when you plan to arrive — we’ll be happy to help!

Guest Information

  • We are required by law to keep a record of all our guest's names, home addresses, and vehicle licence plates. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Thanks!

Enjoy Your Stay!

Door Lock

  • Remember, the Copper Crown’s door locks automatically when you close it, so be sure to memorize your code. If you do lock yourself out, our family lives next door at the Imagination Corporation.

  • If your code does not work, pull the door sharply towards you and try the code again (and push the unlock button after your code). If it still does not work, give us a call!

WIFI

  • WIFI Network: Hazelnut Inn

Television

  • The television looks like a picture and is above the fireplace.

  • The television remote is on the end table beside the couch.

  • Press and hold the power button on the remote to turn the tv off. (Press the power button once to turn the pictures back on.)

  • Feel free to use Philbert’s Netflix account during your stay.

  • You are also welcome to use your own streaming services during your stay — just remember to log-out before you check-out. And if you forget, don’t worry, Philbert will log you out after he binges his favourite shows.

Heating & Air Conditioning

  • The Copper Crown has in-floor heat and air conditioning. The in-floor heat thermostat control is in the living room and the air-conditioning thermostat control is in the bedroom.

Lights

  • Most of the Copper Crown’s lights are dimmable — you’ll find a little slider beside each switch.

Fireplace

  • CAUTION: The bricks and steel around the fireplace get extremely hot and remain hot for some time after the fire is off.

  • The outdoor fireplace has a timer. To light the fire make sure the red button is pulled out (twist and pull) and turn the timer to the right. To stop it, turn the timer back to zero or push the red button.

  • Please do not cook food in the fireplace.

Washroom

  • The Copper Corwn has an on-site septic field. Please only flush toilet paper and natural waste. No “flushable” feminine items, wipes, or trash. Thank you!

  • Your complementary soap is handmade by our neighbours at Rustic Soap Co.

Soaker Tub

  • The soaker tub has a ‘toe tap’ drain. Tap it once to close and again to open.

  • Your complementary bath salts are made by our neighbours at Fox & Thistle Mercantile.

Snacks & Beverages

  • The kitchenette is stocked with a variety of complementary drinks and goodies, enjoy!

Limited Edition Print

  • We have placed a gift for you, as a memento of your stay, on the coffee table. This limited edition print, signed by artist Dan Sawatzky was commissioned to commemorate the grand opening of the Copper Crown Suite.

Where is it?

  • The guest book is on the end table beside the chair. We love reading your notes!

  • The television looks like a picture and is above the fireplace.

  • The television remote is on the end table beside the couch.

  • The board games are under the end table beside the couch.

  • Drink coasters are in the end table beside the couch.

  • The remote for the bedroom fan is on the windowsill.

  • If you’ve booked a romance package, the remote for your candles is on the bedroom windowsill.

  • The spare blanket is in the closet beside the tub.

  • The hair dryer is in the suitcase stool in the bathroom.

  • Extra toilet paper, a toilet plunger, and a broom are in the closet beside the tub.

  • The iron and ironing board are in the closet beside the tub.

  • The recycle bin is in the closet beside the tub.
