The preparation for the North Star Suite’s private garden is continuing. We’ve poured several footings for the various sculptures that will populate the garden — including this ancient obelisk. I’m looking forward to seeing it in place!

The North Star Suite’s garden path is now defined. Next up we will build the garden’s fountain. After that it will be time to pour the walkways and start planting! Only 94 days until our grand opening and open house.

Today we made a good start on the North Star Suite’s kitchen cabinets. We’ll finish them up tomorrow before moving on to the next item on our list. Only 95 days until our grand opening!

Today I finished up the second of the North Star Suite’s closets. Now guests can tuck their suitcases out of the way and get on with the serious business of enjoying their stay. 😄

With only 97 days until the Hazelnut Inn’s grand opening, we are working hard to finish up the North Star Suite’s final details.

The North Star’s ensuite is looking great! We’ve finished painting and are ready to grout the tile. I can’t wait to see the final result!
