It is a busy time at the Hazelnut Inn as everyone works hard to wrap up the endless small details required to open our magical little hotel. We are whittling down the numerous final inspections and reports which are required. The gardens are being planted, watering systems are being installed, and everything is being checked one last time. One of today’s tasks involved modifying the gates to accept the permanent digital locking hardware and planting the top of this little derelict tower. Only twenty-three days remain until our grand opening and open house on June 1st!
Today we installed one more small sign out front. Now passers by can find our website a little bit easier. 😊
Today I finished up the last of the North Star Suite’s interior touch ups. I been waiting a long time to paint the gold on this door!
We made a quick trip to Cedar Rim Nursery today for a few things. I had just enough time to take a quick pick of our lovely new Dogwood tree after we planted it and before it started raining. We will be nice and green for our grand opening on June 1st!
